To show that all channels are working correctly a delayed reconstruction is necessary. If the raw data was saved during the scan, pictures can be reconstructed using only a single channel. These tests were of course also made with a phantom, but the tomato version is nicer to show here:

The increasing noise with increasing distance from the coil gives an idea of the penetration depth. It becomes visible, that one coil array is not enough to scan the whole wrist (tomato) and that a second array "looking" from the other side is necessary.
